The show features imagery evocative of 2001: A Space Odyssey (but entirely earthbound), a mood link reminiscent of the Shining, and a neo-noir spirit in more of the David link Lynch and/or Fincher mold. To put it link mildly, Devs is a mystery wrapped in a puzzle, inside of a maze.
