I will be posting Christmas season outfit inspiration Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs of this week (with Where Bloggers Live on Fri). Come back tomorrow for more outfit ideas.
Red is a great Christmas color that doesn't have to be paired with black to be effective. Other neutrals, semi-neutrals, and accent colors can work well in a red holiday season outfit. Note that "red" doesn't have to mean just true holly red....you can vary the shade to red-orange, brick red, maroon, etc. Use red as a dominant color or as a pop of color against a neutral background. Incorporate seasonal textures like suede, velvet, faux fur, tweed, leather, and sweater knits...or not. Go all-in with touches of green and/or Christmas motif prints/jewelry or keep the nod to the season more subtle.
Here are 17 outfits from my previous OOTD, this time with red sweaters, tops, or vests suitable across a range of temperatures/weather and occasions for some Christmas season outfit inspiration. (Of course red-based looks work outside the holiday season, too...so pin any outfits for future inspiration.)

What is your favorite color to pair with red at this time of year?
Blogs I link up with are listed here.
A pattern has become very clear since this column was link introduced some weeks ago: Retailers around the nation quietly do far more link than simply move watches from manufacturer to consumer. Perhaps it's always been obvious that they're more than a conduit to get the watches in the hands of consumers, but it's these link little stories of true passion that keep popping up in this column that amaze me.
Lastly, Tudor added a manufacture caliber to its Black Bay 36 S&G last year (MT5400). Along with this aesthetic rethink of the steel Black 36 lineup, it's link time to update its movement link too. Nick Marino is going to tell you that Tudor should shrink the Ranger down to 36, but why stop there? Don't get me wrong, I love the Ranger link (I own a vintage one!), but I'm here to tell you Tudor can do so much more with 36mm. –Tony Traina, Editor
Wonderful outfits! I love your black pinstripe slacks. My favorite color to wear with red this time of year is black. Such a dramatic combination as a number of your outfits demonstrate.
