Where Bloggers Live: A Few of My Favorite Winter Things

Welcome back to the monthly edition of Where Bloggers Live! I am lucky to have joined a terrific group of bloggers who give a peek into the places and spaces where they spend their time.

Today's topic is...My Favorite Things about Winter...and I decided that I would approach the theme differently from usual. Instead of brainstorming a list, I decided to take investigate this as a modern detective might by looking at the photographs on my phone for evidence.

Some months ago, I did a major download of photos from my phone to my computer, and I was surprised by the weird and random array of images that I'd captured. Everything from "let me snap this so I remember it later" to "won't so-and-so like to see this" to "oh that's an interesting idea" to "that's pretty" to "I have zero idea what this even is." I have a stand-alone camera that I use for most of my intentional photography so my phone is just a hodgepodge of stuff. And today I'm sharing photos that relate to winter in hopes that they will supply us with some clues.

So here we go - an alphabetical list of things about winter I seem to like, based on photographic evidence...

So my 5 favorite things about winter appear to include:

Winter fashion
Winter food
Winter holidays
Winter rabbits
and, oddly, both snow and lack of snow

That seems about right!

To be clear, I don't think I'm a spy...but that's what a spy would say, wouldn't she? I guess we'll never be sure.

Love the precloaked rabbit! I'd add to the list "winter sleep". To me it's blissful to not be fighting the heat, the light or the noise from people out until late in their gardens! Thanks for linking.

I also wear long coats in the winter with hoods and scarfs around my neck that protect me from getting a sore throat.

Having those warm accessories do make a big difference!
