My Scarf 2022 Capsule Wardrobe: 13 Outfits for Jan-April
Well, it's happening. After about 2 days of weather in the 60s F, it's going to be 70F this weekend and in the 80s F next week! Once it hits 80F, it's summer as far as I'm concerned. (Living in the south, I waited for much higher temps before calling it summer.) The only upside to the heat is that we can close our windows and start running the A/C again...which is definitely easier on my allergies!
But before we say good-bye to spring (though hopefully not for good!), it's time to do a check in with our scarf-inspired capsule wardrobe.
Here are the January-April capsule wardrobe garments, which soundly cover the range of temperatures we see in the first four months of the year. Of course it's heavily lopsided toward navy...and I don't have a problem with that because the navy shades are diverse and navy is a color that can anchor your wardrobe all year long. The red, the multiple shades of pink, and the white (ye gods, we finally have a white top, bottom, and topper in the mix!) are giving us some variety in colors. Still no beige/stone, though!
Our accessories are in excellent shape, though of course I'm still thinking it could use more scarves! Those accent color shoes really make me smile.
Today I'm going to share 13 new outfits from this four month capsule, ranging across the St Paul winter-to-spring gamut. I made sure to include every piece of clothing and accessory at least once. For me, the prints and the variety in accent colors help keep this interesting, though...man, I don't know...it's still challenging because I would want ALL THE COLORS!
How is this capsule landing with you? Do you have a favorite of these outfit options?
