I will be posting Christmas season outfit inspiration Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri of this week (with Style Imitating Art on Wed). Come back tomorrow for more outfit ideas.
Red Christmas outfit idea posts from last week: red + black part 1, red + black part 2, red sweaters/tops/vests, red skirts/dresses/pants.
After red and black, green and black is probably the most traditional color combination for the Christmas season. While it's a timeless choice for a Christmas Day outfit, it's also fun to wear these colors in the lead up to the day. Note that "green" doesn't have to mean just true green....you can vary the shade to bright green, dark green, yellow-green, olive, aloe/sage, green-teal, etc. Wear green and black in solid and/or print pieces, alone or with other colors too (I like it a lot with white). Use green as a dominant color or as a pop of color against a neutral background. Incorporate seasonal textures like suede, velvet, faux fur, tweed, leather, and sweater knits...or not. Go all-in with touches of red and/or Christmas motif prints/jewelry or keep the nod to the season more subtle.
Here are 15 outfits from my previous OOTD with green and black suitable across a range of temperatures/weather and occasions for some Christmas season outfit inspiration. (Of course this color combination works outside the holiday season, too...so pin any outfits for future inspiration.)

Do you wear green and black for the Christmas season? How do you like to wear it? Do any of the outfit ideas above resonate for you?

Well, it's finally sunny here in New York, and have I got the watch for you. With cool blue tones, link a pop link of red, and a regatta timer, this Lucien Piccard is a worthy companion for sailing off Kennebunkport or dining al fresco at Lucien. This is one of those watches that has enough general appeal to intrigue even the link most novice watch appreciators while also serving up the real heady details for even the most well-versed vintage collector.
The most historically significant watch up for grabs will link be the Royal Oak A2, which is known to be the second Royal Oak ever made and is the link earliest-number reference 5402 to ever appear at auction. What makes this watch extra cool is that it's one of the original four Royal Oak models that were presented in 1972 at the annual Basel watch fair. From a pop culture perspective, the headlining lot is a black PVD-coated Royal link Oak 5402 believed to have been owned by Karl Lagerfeld.
I tend to wear green and black often as I am still warming up to the colour green and pairing it with neutrals is always a safe bet, haha! I really like the muted tones of these green and black outfits - so perfect for a winter Christmas!
Thank you for joining the Weekday Wear Link up! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas :)

Green with black is a winning color combination for winter dressing. I like how you've combined the tops, skirts, pants in complementary colors -- and the shoes and scarves really make the outfits look complete. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 45.
